There was a flurry of activity on the WMC WhatsApp groups this week. And
many confused faces :) So, here is some detail on what we have been
doing to improve our communication lately:

1. The church now has a WhatsApp number (081 885 4928). You can send
messages to the office (we will only see them between 08h30 and 14h00 on
weekdays) but hopefully this will be a more convenient way for you to
stay in touch with us. If you need to speak to someone, please continue
to use the landline number (031 2665 222).
2. We have also created a WhatsApp community for WMC (and many of you
were automatically added to the community this week). If you haven't
joined the community yet, scan the QR code in the church foyer to join.
Once you belong to the community, click on the community name and you'll
see a list of groups that are linked to the community (at the moment we
have groups for children's ministry parents, music groups, our men's
ministry group and the WMC Info group for daily and weekly devotionals
and news). You are welcome to join any groups that interest you (or just
remain as a community member and receive very occasional messages
relating to the whole church). We plan to add more groups to the
community in the coming weeks, which will be a really easy way for you
to connect with a home group, or get involved in a project.
3. Finally, be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram pages -
fresh content is being added daily!
