This Sunday is the first Sunday in Advent and we are suddenly less than a month from Christmas! So much has happened over this year – can you believe that we were still wearing masks for the first part of 2022 – the height of the pandemic seems like a distant memory already! We know how difficult the last couple of years have been in KZN, but in spite of this, we have had much to celebrate at WMC in 2022 as we have steadily re-emerged from hibernation in the aftermath of Covid.
So, on Sunday, in addition to marking the start of Advent, we will be gathering in one service at 09h00 (there will be no 07h30 or 18h30 services) and as part of our worship, we will be reflecting on the year that has been and looking ahead with hope to 2023. It will be a great chance to all be together in one place as we give thanks to God for his faithfulness in these challenging times. Hope to see you there!
