Good things happen when we are all together! Last Sunday was our annual combined service and we celebrated the second Sunday of Advent with a full church.
We also used the service to reflect on the year that has been and give thanks for the goodness of God and the generosity and faithfulness of God's people.
Our 2025 budget was approved and we confirmed the renewed appointment of David Jordan as our Treasurer and Anelisa Jidana and Felicity Williams as incoming society stewards.
As we look ahead with hope to 2025 we were challenged by the remarkable witness of John the Baptist to be people who, in the words of Oswald Chambers, offer "My utmost for his highest" - bringing the very best we have to offer to God.
After the service we had a chance to say farewell and thank you to Laura Heale for the gift she has been to our community over these many years. A sad moment for WMC but an exciting time for Laura and Alan as they finalise their travel plans.
