Can you believe it's been a year since Andile and Ndu started their little coffee shop in our Supper Room? It's been a gift to our community here and as the resident barista, Andile has become part of the WMC family.

The reality though is that the coffee shop has been quiet, which means that it has provided limited income for Andile and Ndu and they haven't been able to expand their offerings or upgrade their setup.

Enter Ravi Naidoo. Ravi is a regular worshipper at our early service and has years of experience running a large church coffee shop. Ndu, Andile and Ravi brought our leaders a proposal for Ravi to take over management of the coffee shop. The original plan was for Andile to continue to be employed as barista, but he has chosen to explore other options.

Our leaders have agreed. The coffee shop will continue to run as before, but you can expect an expanded food menu, some redecorating and rearranging of furniture. You may also meet Ravi or Khwezi (who is supervising food preparation in the kitchen) - pop in some time to welcome them! There will be a time of settling in no doubt, but our hope is that the coffee shop helps us to keep building relationships and offering warm Christian hospitality to the wider Westville community.
